Located in central eastern Oregon, east of Bend about 3 hours on Highway 26 in the John Day Valley & Strawberry Mt. Wilderness country. In a town of 1750 in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains with the John Day River running right through the middle of it. One can not understand this area until one gets here.
