Dorje Khyung Dzong Shambhala Retreat Center is located at 8,000 feet on Greenhorn Mountain on 400 acres of land in southern Colorado. We are located in pinion-juniper forest with views of the Sangre De Christo Mountain range. The beauty and peacefulness of the land permeates life here.
We have eight well-equipped cabins designed for solitary meditation retreat. We offer a quiet protected place for deep meditation for experienced meditators. The land has been soaked in blessing from meditators for over 45 years.
Retreats can vary in length from five nights to several months. The center is staffed by two experienced meditators in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition who live on the land and are available to support your retreat. Please visit our website for more information.
